CitiStreet’s TBO Division (now a division of ING) engaged HS2 to define requirements and then to build a new pension administration application that would significantly reduce implementation timeframes, costs, and complexities. HS2 developed a product strategy that enabled CitiStreet to preserve its investment in its overall platform while re-engineering core pension setup processes making them faster, simpler, and more easily repeated. HS2 managed the development of a complete setup system including integration of a business rules engine, development of user interfaces for parameter entry, and interactive web-based testing tools. The resulting application has been highly successful and is a foundational component of ING’s defined benefit business in both large and mid-market segments.
